| Q. |
What pockets come standard on a Pittsburgh Kilt? |
| A. |
All
Pittsburgh Kilts come with a pocket sewn to the inner apron (see
picture at right). This has many benefits: the pocket is safe and
unobtrusive, easy to access, and the weight of the pocket contents
helps the aprons drop nicely in place when you sit down. The pocket
is slanted to help you access it from the right-side opening. This
pocket is included in the price of the Pittsburgh Kilt.
For an extra $5, the inner apron pocket can be outfitted with a
zipper (see picture below).

| Q. |
What other pocket options
are available? |
| A. |
A rear pocket can be added to
almost any kilt. The pocket is covered with a flap, which
fastens down with velcro. Adding a rear pocket adds an additional
$10 to the price of the kilt.

Two side pockets can be added, hidden in the pleats
on both sides of the apron. These pockets are roomy, and similar
to the pockets in most casual dress pants. The cost is $20 to
add both pockets. |
Detachable side cargo pockets
and a sporran in matching fabric is also available.
The side pockets are $30 for the pair. The sporran,
which has two divisions inside (see image below) is
$20. Both have an expandable front panel, snap closures,
and clip directly to the D-rings of your Pittsburgh
Kilt.
Also available: The Saltire
Sporran. |

| Q. |
Can I get narrower pleats? |
| |
The
standard Pittsburgh Kilt pleat size is 2 1/2 inches. A narrower pleat
gives the kilt a dressier look, and is preferred by some customers.
The pleats shown at the left are 1 1/2 inch pleats, and are available
on standard kilts for an additional $25. Like the standard pleat,
these narrower pleats are stitched along the outside and inside edges. |
